TIGECYCLINE PHARMLAND contains the active substance tigecycline—a glycylcycline antibiotic that stops the growth of bacteria causing infections in various organs and tissues.
TIGECYCLINE PHARMLAND is used in adults and children aged 8 years and older to treat the following infections:
- complicated skin and soft tissue infections, excluding diabetic foot infections;
- complicated intra-abdominal infections.
Tigecycline is prescribed only when, in the opinion of the attending physician, the use of other antibiotics is not appropriate.
